Magnesium-Rich Hot Chocolate

We think it’s the perfect time to curl up on the couch with a hot cup of chocolate, don’t you agree?! So save this recipe and make it whenever you want to reap the benefits of a nourishing, creamy & indulgent drink, boosted with magnesium (which is naturally found in cacao).

 

Ingredients

1-1.5 tablespoon raw cacao powder 

A couple drops of vanilla essence, to taste

1/4 tsp cinnamon

1 cup milk of choice

A pinch of salt, maple syrup or honey, to taste

 

Method

  1. Add your milk to a saucepan and begin to warm gently
  2. Add in the cacao powder, vanilla and cinnamon and stir through until mixed and heated
  3. Add sweetener and/or salt to taste
  4. Pour into a cup and savour the nourishing warmth
